Description of Project
This project will remove a 4-foot wide, 30-foot-long perched culvert, site ID CR136, that is
restricting fish access on Carpenter Creek and replace it with a 30 foot-span by 20 foot wide
modular weathering steel bridge that allows salmonids and lamprey to access more than 2-miles
of upstream habitat. This project exists on private property owned by 3 separate landowners. This
project is planned to take place at the end of July 2025, but the contract construction window is
July to September 2025. SFEG will be responsible for obtaining all environmental permits and
purchasing the bridge.

tax).

Staging requirements and landowner access: The bridge to be installed provides access to
six private residences on Ervine Lane and there are no alternate access routes. This contract
