Field Notes: Snorkel Surveys

We at Skagit Fisheries snorkel surveyed all of Marblemount slough on June 29^th.  It was a beautiful day and we found a school of whitefish, a coho (like the little one pictured), and even juvenile Chinook! It was neat to see them so small and crazy to think that next year they will be traveling to the sea. Of course, we wished them luck for their journey.
