-identify native and invasive plants
-assess plant health
-estimate plant coverage

Why do vegetation monitoring?
Checking up on the plants we’ve put in the ground helps us determine the success of revegetation projects. Monitoring past work helps make
future work more effective!

After training, volunteers get to sign up to do a day of monitoring on at least one restoration planting site with SFEG staff and interns.
