Join us Saturday, September 16th, 10am-1pm to remove invasive English ivy from the restoration areas along the Skagit River at Cottonwood Island.
Directions: From McLean Rd in West Mount Vernon, take Penn Rd south to the boat launch, just past the intersection with Calhoun Rd.

Accessibility: The walk from the parking area to the work site is ~500 yards over relatively smooth, even terrain. There is the possibility of a few fallen trees to scramble over.
Please bring a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
We will provide tools, gloves, instruction, coffee and light snacks.
