Together with donors, members, and volunteers, Skagit Fisheries has contributed to significant accomplishments for salmon and our community over the last 30 years. However our work is not done yet. There is much work planned for 2024 including new fish passage improvement projects, planting native trees, and engaging students in outdoor learning projects.   • Grow more trees for important habitat restoration projects ($50 grows 10 trees)
  • Train more volunteers to count salmon returning to restored sites ($100 trains a volunteer)
  • Engage more classrooms and respond to the increased need for more outdoor education programs ($500 funds a class field trip)
  • Help landowners to identify and design new projects for salmon and wildlife
